Jewelry Care

All of our jewelry is made with 18kt Brazilian gold-filled chains, unless stated otherwise. What is Brazilian gold-filled? Brazilian gold-filled jewelry has a durability life of 2+ years. It is made with 3% (1/30) gold content using 18kt gold and layered two to three times over a base metal.

 

The best way to take care of your MAIZIE jewelry and preserve its quality is to keep it away from chemicals, sweat, and excessive water. Exposing the jewelry to these elements may cause wear to its quality over time. The PH of your body’s and its natural oils may also cause jewelry to wear over time. We recommend you remove your jewelry before bathing, showering, working out, and swimming. Of course you can wear your jewelry while showering and working out, but it will decrease the length of time your jewelry will stay in its best shape.

 

To clean, if needed, we recommend using warm water and mild soap, sparingly. Dry completely with a soft cloth.

When not wearing, store jewelry in a dry space.

Rings

MAIZIE rings come in a variety of sizes. To measure your ring size at home, you can use a few household items to quickly determine the best ring size for you.

You'll need a piece of string or paper, a pen, and a ruler. Follow the steps below:

1. Wrap the string or paper around the base of your finger.

2. With a pen, mark the point where the ends meet.

3. Line up the string or paper on the ruler, and measure the length that you marker in millimeters (mm).

4. Use the chart to compare your mm length, to the respective ring size.
